Change: Page Design
Hello Topix Editors!
We wanted to make sure you were aware of our newest page design change and clear up any confusion.
Currently all stories that wrap around the vertical ad (highlighted in the image below) on news pages will not show story photos. Once there are enough stories to push your story past the advertisement, your story's photo will reappear again.

We made this change to allow more stories on the page, and make the overall page presentation cleaner.

I wish the photos I embed in the articles didn't disappear from sight as soon as the article leaves the top spot. I realize the photo is still there if you open the article and that if the article drops far enough down the page the photo will reappear, but it seems to me that the best attention grabber is to have the photos on view all the time. Sometimes I go to a lot of work getting a good photo to go with an article and then I hate to put up another article knowing the photo from the first article won't be visible any more.

I appreciate the most recent design update. The overlaid header that allows a user to access all of their options (replies, profile, etc.) from anywhere on the page they're viewing is a wonderful addition and makes the news pages even more user friendly. Kudos!
